I'm in the process of doing Short Back now, I've tweaked my process and have come up with even better results. Very soon I might even be able to reduce the film dirt and specs on the outdoor scenes!

Definately that first Series back Foggy is in fine form (Series 12). Series 13, the one shot completely on videotape is pretty good too, but I found Series 14 and 15 a bit of a struggle, especially the repetition of Foggy's war stories and being kicked out the library in almost every episode.

I think the Seymour years are the most interesting, story wise and visually. While I enjoy Foggy's first run more, Seymour's years are some the best episodes, and are certainly much better the than Foggy's second run.

Here's what to expect for 40ft Ferrett. It's not a major difference, but it's slightly noticible. I'm also gonna look at Short Back and Pate & Chips and see if It's worth doing them.

Thanks :) I'm thinking of maybe doing some more of the Blamire years, as some like "Forty Foot Ferret" look horrible. Series 5 onwards look great on the DVD's, so I don't need to bother with them. And Series 3 and 4 from my memory looked decent enough color wise.

What episodes are edited on the DVD's? As of yesterday they're airing Summer Wine over here from the start! and I've now got a nice interlaced digital copy of the Pilot which I'm gonna restore (or at least color correct the outdoor scenes) and put on youtube. I know the next three episodes...

I've always assumed the two finger salute to mean "up yours" which would make far more sense, although it means more or less the same thing as the f-word.

I really want them to hurry up too. I eagerly want to watch the episode with Henry McGee, as I'm a huge obsessive Benny Hill fan.

I've never really liked that house of Cleggy's much. I much prefer the one that preceded it.

Finally got round the watching the rest of the DVD, and another episode features are very young Ken Kitson!

I've been watching "It Ain't Half Hot Mum" with Micheal Bates and Windsor Davies. I must say, Bates is a wonderful actor and it really shows in this series, more so IMO than Summer Wine. Blamire and Rangi Ram feel like two different people. It's almost hard to believe both are Micheal Bates.

I was recently watching a few Hobbo episodes and I can't stand him! He made the show unwatchable :( Your thoughts?
