    Summer Wine in other countries?

We get repeats of the last 3 or 4 series often on a channel called UKTV in NZ. I would wish they'd start from the very start. ATM until a few days ago, It was Summer Wine at 6pm and Keeping Up Appearances at 6.30.

    Early Mike Grady Appearance

Have just been watch the Thames TV series "The Howerd Confessions" starring Frankie Howerd, and in episode 2, there's a very young Mike Grady playing a camp fellow. Just thought I'd let you guys know. It was quite odd seeing him even younger than he was in his first Summer Wine appearances.

    If you went on Mastermind

Maybe, but my main one would be on Benny Hill.

    Did Foggy Hate Compo?

I would of though Owen would be a right wing/conservative type (similar to myself). I'm not sure of Brian's political association but i know that Micheal Bates was Right wing and it's been documented than Owen and Bates had a major argument.

    Did Foggy Hate Compo?

I've been watching the Blamire years, and been really enjoying it, but I noticed something. With Blamire, although He'll go on and complain about Compo, it feels as though they have a mutual respect for each other and don't hate each other. They share their smokes (Yes, in the early years Compo...

    Early Cleggy Homes?

I had a flick through Small Tune On A Penny Wassail and it's almost definitaley the same house as in Series 1. I'll do some screen grabs later.

    Cleggy

There were various producers in the early years. Series 1 had James Gilbert (correct me if i'm wrong) and Series 2 and someone named Bernard I think. Anyway's I've always felt Clegg changed. I was watching 'Spring Fever' the other week and he was strongly standing up to Nora Batty! Much...

    Auntie Wainwrights sales

She makes me feel uneasy. Must be the Clegg in me, and She's a very good actor.

And a Dewhurst up a fir tree

I remember watching Fir Tree for the first time, I loved it. It seems almost sort of out of place a wee bit, but in a good way. One of my favorites.

Explaing the visual changes in the series

I didn't mean to get at anyone here at all, and was more just providing some info for any of the "tech heads" here. Sorry If I offended you :-[

    Great Back-to-Back Episodes

I too love Summer Wine (I love it ALOT!) but I think in the 90's it started to get a bit weak, I mean some of the "Physical Humor" was just "overdone" and sometimes it felt like it was done just because the could. I dunno, the physical humor on summer wine by then just seemed a we bit corny...

Explaing the visual changes in the series

I've been dissapointed with all the wrong info going around, especially on Wikipedia, so here I am to set the record straight. From viewing all the series up to Series 15 (but have look through opening titles on series 16 and 17 which I just bought today), and being technical minded, here are...

    Summer Wine DVDs You Own?

I had no idea! So I guess that's actually 18 and 19 to be precise? and which series did Truly first appear?

    Electrical Entwhistle

Well Entwistle really isn't a character to be honest, it's just the actor Burt Kwouk with a bit of a fictitious story added. I can't find it on youtube, but there's a Spike Milligan sketch about "Japanese Ritual Suicide" in which Milligan, as a china woman jumps off a building, then lands in...

    Summer Wine DVDs You Own?

I own all the region 4 dvd's. Except in the next few weeks i'll be buying the "Series 17 & 18" One: That's the latest one to be released here. Around July it was. But I wait until they are down in price, as they start at like $50!!. I've bought quite a few of mine for $47.99 because I couldn't...

    Just started watching again

After a few months off from watching LOTSW, I began again. Just finished "The New Mobile Trio" tonight after watching one episode a night. I haven't watched series 1 or 2 (or even 3 or 4 for that matter) for at least two years (the last time I actually watched an episode from this era was...
