Ran across this while perusing Internet Archive, it was created by Roy Clarke who penned the pilot, most of the series was written by Alan Plater, stars Bill Maynard. Oh No It's Selwin Froggitt (all 4 seasons 1974-78).
Speaking of LotSW cast, while browsing IA I also found Clarence, a 6 episode series with Josephine Tewson, starring Ronnie Barker. The playlist at that link starts with those episodes and has several other series including the anthology series Seven of One that spawned Open All Hours and Porridge.I really enjoy the series and a splattering of LOSW cast in most episodes
Another one in my collection, shame they only did six episodesSpeaking of LotSW cast, while browsing IA I also found Clarence, a 6 episode series with Josephine Tewson, starring Ronnie Barker. The theme was simply taken away insteadThe problem with Clarence is that we were promised a series about a removal man, but after the first episode, removals wasn't much of the theme.
