Yes indeed it was. He wouldve been tremendous as a lead role barmpot in an episode.

Actually I thought he did a good job! I really like that episode and thought he played his part well!

The production budget probably was not up to his having a bigger role.

Wouldnt it have been more of a case of John Cleese requesting a role rather than the other way round? If so, that wouldnt be a budget issue.
