Surely Catweazle trumped the LOT of 'em. He was played by Geoffrey Bayldon who actually appeared in an episode of LOSW !

Speaking of Catweazle, there are three episodes with each of our main trio! One with Brian Wilde, one with Bill Owen, one with Peter Sallis! I got the Catweazle DVDs and only then I noticed this .

In addition to being scruffy, I would call Albert Steptoe scrawny. Now I realize that this is going way off topic, but Steptoe and Son came to the States as Sanford and Son and when comparing Fred Sanford with Albert Steptoe, Albert Steptoe was scruffier.

I just want to say that I did catch an episode of Steptoe and Son on YouTube and it was absolutely hilarious.
