We had a nice February, weatherwise. Part of March was OK but then the weather turned into typical English cricket weather, rather wet. Last week we had two very warm days and one very hot day. Now it is back to the wet weather, BUT, according to some statisticians, it is one of the top ten years for warm weather since the year 2002. I wonder, were the people who make these reports, not around in 1976?:tw:☀☀☀. This weather is nothing new.
 
I worked for the Fire Service in 76, it was a manic few months, the trouble is these days we don't get chance to get use to the heat, it's here for a couple of days then gone, last week we hit 37c on Thursday,two days later it was 16c
