I think it's in Truly and the Truth Hole when Truly wants to be a hero and appear in the local paper rescuing a drowning dog when in essence he falls in the water and needs rescuing himself.
That hill is one of my favourite viewing spots LeighHalf way up the hill in the distance is a regularly used road in the series - it's an easy road to have closed and not disrupt local traffic. That's where Foggy practiced camouflage and got run over by the cyclists; Clegg and Compo staged another cycle accident to disguise the fact they'd crushed Foggy's 'sunray major' radio set; Potts' tent was perched on top of the hill centre of the image; and many more roadside capers!
