Clegg certainly had to put up a lot from Howard over the years. There were many of times I would have been attempted to playfully get Howard in trouble, when Pearl was nearby. He could have ruined Howard's plans just once and would have been done with all the hassles.

He wouldn't have put up with him for so long if he wasn't his best friend. Lol I know from my experience with Joey that you don't continue to talk to someone who really gets on your nerves unless you have some sort of friendship. Or unless you're family. Lol

Howard always came around when he wanted something. It was usually a ploy to get something to Marina. Clegg was trying to put a stop to it, but Clegg's nature is to help his fellow man. He was a good egg.
