To think the story of originally 3 barmpots and their attempt to rebel against the fate society has thrown them has endured so long is wonderful. Whilst the decades notch up and sadly ever more of the cast depart into the studios in the sky, their legacy lives forever; To enjoy life to the full and not let the passing the years diminish your zest for life and to embrace the ridiculous.

Last year was a chance to meet those whose lives the series has enriched with chances to share good humour and sorrows, sink pints and amber over streets and dale unified in the common good. Thankyou Roy for creating a world we can all slip into when the real one feels too much.
