As its the holidays, I was eating some fruitcake the other night, and of course, I had it with butter. The idea of putting butter on it was something LOTSW taught me, as I'd never been told to do that all those years ago when as a child I was forced to eat it. As a result, I did not have fond memories of fruitcake. Now it's a regular holiday tradition.

I was wondering if other people have similar stories. It can be anything, just something you think you would not have tried had this show not given you the idea.

I gave it a quick bit of thought, and there's no doubt watching LOTSW gets into your subconscious. I'd say mine too was confectionery based, whenever I want a cake treat I always buy chocolate eclairs now. I was never really into them when I was younger but as they are the most coveted item at the ladies coffee mornings I think that's prompted me buy them more now!
