I remember being on a 12 hour Nightshift for a couple of weeks in Dundrum telephone exchange back in 1984. The R&B and smooth jazz elements of Private Dancer lent itself so well to all night radio and the song was played 3 or 4 times every night while we worked there. I absolutely loved that song. I was just listening to this while I'm waiting for my best friend to get here. I like Olivia Rodrigo. I first heard her on TikTok and then on the radio while I was driving and then looked her up on YouTube and found this song, which is one of my favorites by her.

The drummer is Pip Pyle (R.I.P.) and he played with Gong one of my fave bands :37:
Just want to add Dave Stewart isn't the Eurythmics guy. He also played with others of the Canterbury scene and was on one of my fave albums Fish Rising by Steve Hillage.
