The Opera

Well, was it wonderful or what!!!!!
We caught the 9.45 am coach, and got to London for 12.15pm, we then met my son for lunch in a restaurant right next door to the London Coliseum, as he lives in London now, he paid for our lunch, a birthday treat.

The theatre was beautiful inside and we were in M row, right slap bang in the middle of the stage, so we had a good view.Luckily everyone in front of me was short like me, so no big heads in the way.

The Opera was three hours long, but it flew by, the stage was simple and stunning, I had no idea of the story, so it was all to unfold.
I didn't know a wooden puppet operated by three people could bring you to tears.

An awesome performance and at £115 per ticket, a rare treat. I couldn't bring myself to pay that amount for any ticket, so I am very glad to have won them.
The whole day cost us £40, a bargain.
