Currently on Amazon is a Bosh cordless strimmer priced at £24 complete, to buy a spare or replacement battery £60. I know this type of thing can happen but it makes no sense, was the same with the Lexmark printer which I notice the large stores have stopped selling, the printer was £20 the inks were £35,so ink runs out buy new printer, much cheaper

What have you come across that makes no sense

Absolutely - my current printer cost £30 and only got because I had £75 worth of inks from the previous one which fitted, cheaper to buy the machine than refill!
