Summerwine folk and Animals

We know Compo had his ferrets but I was thinking about the other Characters and what animal or pet they would keep. For example I would imagine Barry and Glenda would have a Guinea pig. We know Wally had his birds but what about Billy or Truly what would they have. Or Smiler. Let's see what evolves here

Hobbo had a pet chicken.

Smiler had a dog in his first episode, when he was known as Clem Hemingway.

I see Truly with an uncontrollable ex-police dog.

Ivy had a budgie.

Miss Davenport had a cat.

Pearl had a cat, though we never get to see it

I could always imagine Norman Clegg having a well behaved and elderly budgie, It would seem to fit in with his generally calm demeanour.

Howard and barry had fish for a while

Tom had Pablo [ I seem to recall] and the Irish Tinker [aka Alvin heavily made up] had a Horse.

Howard and Pearl had a pet cat in "Oh Look! Mitzi's Found Her Mummy"

Blamire looked after his landlady's dog

Smiler could have got a horse after his dog died.
Billy could have got a Yorkshire Terrier to help him keep out of the clutches of the Sherriff of Nottingham (aka his wife).
Tom had a goat.
If Pearl had a fish it would have to be a piranha.
Wesley borrowed someone's dog in one of the episodes.

Someone had a chicken, aside from Hobbo , in the early episodes which was really quite vicious. Poor old Sid and Wally were repeatedly hen pecked husbands

A bloke who lived down Billy's street had a German Shepherd called Rip.

I remember Clegg getting all nostalgic and dewy eyed when he described one of his most placid lovely relationships was with his goldfish.
