Just watched this episode and think it was a masterpiece comment on Christmas ,and the finale is a brilliant ending Compo looks very happy as do the children,also Wally and Sid having to put up withrelations brought back many memories.

I have always said that this is my Favourite Christmas episode its just perfection.

Watched it again today, certainly is a good episode. Followed it with A Dewhurst up a fir tree, another classic-so many great one liners in this one.
