At Least you know which way to go

Coincidence that - at least to my warped sense of thought (if you can call it that). In one of yesterday's episodes on GOLD I saw this signpost at a T-junction and wondered if it could be for real. Huddersfield, Sheffield and at right angles direction to Oldham. Looked it up in my Road Atlas and decided it might be where the A6024 goes off from the A606 north of Holmfirth.
