;D Must have ridden my bike all wrong all those years ago Unc. I used bike clips but still managed to get oily trousers! : But I see what Terry's hint meant. :-[

OK, so the oil can was missing. Nothing to do with clips.

As I remember (and well!!!) bicycle clips were meant to keep
one's cuffs out of the chain!! Naught to do with oil.
