The same Public Television programming that provides me with British shows like Summer Wine, offer my kids some great educational cartoons. I just learned that one of my 5 years old's favorite cartoons, Octonauts, is British. He learns so much about sea life.

I guess I should have picked that up due to their accents, but I am so used to watching British shows I don't even think about British or American accents.

One of my grandaughters favourite programs was Peep And The Big Wide World which is American it taught her a lot about nature and animals.
