NEW CAR

Anyone remember the economy version of having a trolley or bogey to speed down hills i.e a roller skate with the straps removed and a book placed on it to provide you a seat then off down the hill no brakes other than you feet and possibly hands . I remember it being a real test of not only courage but also you jeans . If you had cheap ones for your playing out clothes [anyone remember having playing out clothes as opposed for those you had to wear for trips to town etc ] then the inevitable crash would end in tears [no not the :cry2: type] rips and in the end no backside in your jeans but being playing out clothes your mum would always stitch them up however bad the damage and off you'd go again , happy days :)

Well spotted. At one time Wesley also had an empty 'ribble valley cement' bag on the back of his shed door along with the usual Michelin tyre pressure sign.
