In olde English it means unsurprisingly Mill Steam , perhaps his Mum used to regularly visit the Music Hall where she would have enjoyed the delightfully named singer Gertie Gitana and her famous Nellie Dean song [" There's an old mill by the stream Nellie Dean" ] :)
