Jeremy Brett as Sherlock Holmes

I recently watched a couple of episodes of the ITV series and it is really evident how brilliantly Jeremy Brett played the part of the legendary detective.

He got the balance just right unlike some other actors who have fallen short of the mark, what an acting talent this man had.

My favourite episodes are the Final Problem, The Sign of Four, The Speckled Band, Boscombe Valley Mystery and the Empty House.

Are any of you folks fans of the show?

I believe Jeremy Brett was the difinitive Sherlock, although, Benedict
Cumberbatch (sp?) is very good!

Yes thats right, I believe it was an episode called 'The Bruce Partington Plans' it involved a plot in which secret plans for a submarine were stolen.
