I have just read that DEPUYTRENS CONTRACTURE that made it difficult for Bill Owen to lift things was also suffered by Maggie Thatcher of all people!

Hello Dick. I remember watching a programme about the Vikings and it said that this waa a common condition for them. So maybe Compo had Viking blood and this would account for his lusting ways with Nora and other ladies!
