If anyone is coming from Overseas for the 2012 Olympics

I think Terry is referring to the drought. It hasn't rained consistently for quite some time so water levels are low.

Well, we be coming over in just a few weeks. Into H'row
then drive north to Haworth, Hawes, and Holmfirth.
Be there for most of April.

Will early Olympic traffic/crowds be a prob in Yorkshire???

Should be no problem

never understood this problem, why don't the gov't build loads of desalination plants? would create jobs and provide water. i must say my northumbrian water service is good, not to expensive and we up here never really fall short of water.

Blimey, another drought? I know we had one last year already, here in Germany as well as in England, a bit later in spring. This year we´re not having one over here, it seems normal. England running out of water, that´s pure irony! We had our first two warm spring days, before that it was foggy, cold and cloudy for weeks, I never went out without my warm wintercoat, and all of a sudden I´m out in a jumper and the daffodils are beginning to bloom, yay! But it´ll be over by tomorrow, even a thunderstorm is possible already.

OK, started packing already!! Hope there will still
be some dark ales on. Not crazy about the fruity
light ones.

Any word on the H'firth pub that became something
else, kinda across from the bus shelters??? Think it
used to be The White Hart??
