Interesting pic Manwi. It does look more like a prison wall than a railway station though.

I was intrigued by the "LYR" stone above the entrance so looked LYR up link in Wikipedia below there is a photograph of the company's map of stations and routes if you open it up you can see Holmfirth if you look not surprisingly just below Huddersfield .

Peri, your comment made me think of the time in 'Allo 'Allo sit-com when the resistance break out Monsieur Leclerc from prison. The image of him on his cot playing an accordion being towed away behind the truck with a cloud of smoke billowing.
