The real Hovis ad was Gold Hill , Shaftsbury filmed by Ridley Scott . Does anyone remember this spoof done by the two Ronnies !

He was a master at comedy, his expressions alone could make you laugh, he did not have to say a word

The main street up to the Bronte House in Haworth is not dissimilar and I have trekked up there a few times and back down probably good training for tackling Gold Hill as is the hill up to Lincoln Cathedral

Never understood why the Hovis advert sounded so Northern yet the location was so Dorset.

My Mum and I have been to Haworth a couple of times. We had to drive up the hill because we were staying at the Apothecary, it was a bit steep!
We also did The Railway Children walk. We had to walk through a few fields and they had a lot of cows in them!
