Afternoon me thinks Amos I remember it with affection Big Daddy , Giant Haystacks and our very own Oggie Buttercluff Leon Arras /Brian Glover . It's the old dears ringside I remember some of them were vicious hitting the wrestlers with the old handbag

Adrian Street and Bobby Barnes , Jackie Pallo were perhaps the most theatrical of the wrestlers.
If you look carefully there's posters in Sids Cafe in the earlier episodes for wrestlers. One of whom went on to feature as an actor in another long running comedy. Anyone want to guess who?
