I could just do with a wedge of cake Pearl I have this annoying door that keeps blowing in the wind and that would wedge it shut just perfectly !

All the years my mother cooked them, we still finished up spreading them with jam and eating them like you would a slice of toast and jam.
Good luck with that.
That's the only way to make them.

Old but Gold and repeated again from another thread .
Many people name their sons after famous people from the place of their birth . Many , many English families have sons called George after St George the patron saint and commemorated in a special day 23rd April . In a similar vein an inordinate number of family sons are named Andrew in Scotland after their patron saint and commemorated on his day 30th November . How many Irish families have a son called Pancake named after that famous day .
