Who is the greatest british man or women who has ever lived.I think there was a tv programme about it a few years ago and i think Sir Winston Churchill won the vote.Your comments please
 
Admiral Nelson, Isambard Kingdom Brunel, maybe the Duke of Wellington would be very high on the list.
 
Oliver Cromwell, William Wallace, Shakespeare, Montgomery, the code breakers at bletchley park Lennon, McCartney , Jagger, Richards, prof Richard Dawkins, Stephen Hawking and many more.
 
Possibly Lord Nelson, Churchill, Alexander Fleming and maybe Anauren Bevin. :-\
 
Don't know about the greatest Brit ever, but I loved John Lennon. Always will.
 
Churchill is definitely high on my list, I´m grateful to him he helped to free us from Hitler.
