On the internet, a pub called the Kings Head was opposite the shop that was called Fair Trader in Holmfirth, the land is still a large vacant spot

Isn't that the building that was destroyed when an out-of-control lorry coming down Woodhead Road crashed into it? I hang out on the Holmfirth History Facebook page, and I'm almost sure that I've seen mention of that crash there.

Here's a very recent post from the Holmfirth History Facebook page, from someone who grew up in Holmfirth, so he knows the history much better than I do.

"Kings Head pub, a.k.a. The White Door. Reckoned to be one of the oldest buildings in town. A runaway lorry almost demolished the building next door in the late 1960's. The pub was also badly damaged and it was decided to demolish it too."​

You may notice that Ashley Jacksons art studio was a single story building in the early photo. It was a butchers shop at that time.
