For those who love the seaside

Hello all. My new book, SEASIDE TOWNS THEN AND NOW: A PICTORIAL VIEW OF UK RESORTS THROUGH TIME, is now available on Amazon. It is rather pricey, but that's because the images are mostly in colour, which significantly increases printing costs. The book is also available in two smaller volumes. If anyone here should buy a copy, I would love to know what you think of the book.
This link, should you choose to accept it, will take you straight to the relevant page...

I have a plethora of hard back books so I mostly buy Kindle versions just for the space so I have just purchased both volumes . I read the sample on Amazon and it looks fascinating cannot wait to read it . I love the then and now format some resorts do put posters or enlarged pictures up of yesteryear and it is wonderful that they do , I saw briefly the entry for Amble I was on that very pier two weeks ago .

Really nice. I do like the description "sumptuously illustrated" and at near 400 pages it is a hefty book. You must have put a lot of effort into this. Also did not know you did '50 Years of Last of the Summer Wine' , kudos Miles. Hope it sells well.

Not really looked at the age description for books in a very long while... In the description it says "Reading age : 8 - 18 years" should that be reworded? Almost comes across as being meant for a younger audience, instead of adults. Seems like an odd cutoff, 8+ seems alright, yet putting 18+ might put it in the wrong adult category. It also could be me without coffee yet.

Cheers
