Tried to look at the dates on the posters which would probably give an approximation of the year but when you magnify the image it just blurs the dates might be someone on here with a sophisticated photo editor who could intensify the image perhaps.
According to the V&A this poster was made in 1950. It was a touring show and has local theatre dates added over the image, although the designer clearly intended the theatre details to be overprinted on the white band at the top. The overlay appears to say "THEATRE ROYAL / HUDDERSFIELD / MONDAY MAY 5TH". The first May 5th, that was a Monday after 1950 was in 1952.
In my days in the FS, the smaller out of the large towns\city fire stations often got the handed down older appliances, and the retained stations like Holmfirth appeared to be, had the oldest appliances in the county, so for them to have a 11-15 year old appliance would be normal.
