Enjoying HD TV on Freeview

Well don't get used to it as it seems plans afoot from Ofcom will put a stop to it on freeview in a few years time, this is all due to bandwidth required for 5G mobile data,so all the HD channels will vanish, the remaining SD channels will move,so the very least it will require is a re-tune of the TV and there is talk of a new TV antenna may be needed.

Now there is much talk a lot of our TV will be provided by the internet in a few years time, which sounds great if the entire UK has high speed internet plus the infrastructure elsewhere is vastly improved so the net does not crawl to a stop when there is a decent show on in UHD TV which they say needs a download speed of 40-50 meg to stream without buffering
