Changed e-mail address and forgotten password

Hi, can anyone help?
I wish to update the e-mail address on my account, but can't remember my password.
Old e-mail address is defunct.
Any ideas?

Send me a PM with the new email address you want to use, I will amend it for you and reset your password
 
I think we've all been in that boat!

I work in IT and this issue is becoming daily here

We have numerous systems with different usernames, different requirements for passwords - some 18 characters, some less but all have different requirements and expiry times..... which leads to books/pads/notes with passwords written on them creating a not very secure environment!

The more we rely on the online world the worse it will get over time

I agree Bruce, the only way is to have a written backup, I do use a password manager but on occasions that has had a problem, and if you don't have a backup the whole thing comes crashing down
 
I've got a book with every password I've got and for him in doors because I have to manage everything on the Internet for him and for security purposes I hide the book!
Free pasty to anyone that can quess where the book is!
Seriously help me find the flaming thing!
 
It's not the passwords I have trouble with it's the insistence that you have to put numbers and symbols on there too and that's what I can never remember if it's a £ or ? Or @&], how you supposed to remember?

If you are anything like me then when you put something that is important into a safe place, it'll never be found again! The "safe place" gremlins are notorious little thieving devils!

I have ALWAYS wanted a "thingamy !!!!!!".....You can 'av my van for it !!!!.....[plus a passenger with a very sweet tooth !!!]......or I will give yer £6 !!!!!.....you will have made a MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASIVE £1 PROFIT !!!!!
