Peter Sallis was born in Twickenham, Middlesex, he was a stage actor in the 50's and 60's. He was the voice of Wallace in the BAFTA and Oscar winning animation Wallace and Gromit: A Grand Day Out. He was the only actor to be in all 295 episodes.

Bill Owen was born in London and made his first film in 1944, he was a regular in Carry On films and was a songwriter, he wrote Marianne recorded by Cliff Richard. He also worked as Spike Milligans straight man in the West End hit Son Of Oblomov in 1964.

Michael was born in Jhansi India he was a Major with the Brigade Of Gurkhas in Burma. He worked on BBC radio and played Rangi Ram in It Ain't Half Hot Mum.

Brian Wilde born June 13 1927 - Died March 20 2008 aged 80
Brian was born in Lancashire England he was RADA trained and appeared in Carry On Doctor, he's best known for playing Mr Barrowclough in Porridge alongside Ronnie Barker and Fulton Mackay. His son Andrew was a film editor on the show from the 90's.
Brian was the second and fourth 3rd man of the trio.
Played Walter Dewhurst aka Foggy in 116 episodes.
