Been aware of the host of old films he appeared in for years like Once a Jolly Swagman and The Ship That Died Of Shame, that one was shown on Talking Pictures last week.
Not sure whether this has been posted previously but I like to record old Public Information films, they often sit unwatched for years as happened with this.
It's from 1943 and titled "Breathing Spaces" showing life going on in wartime.
Bill composing and singing an inspirational song, his character had the only speaking and singing part. Shades of Extra, Extra!
