Compo was born 14-03-1914 in Acton, Middlesex. He keeps appearing in films on the Talking Picture channel.

108 today he was the star amongst stars in our beloved show time for a fitting statue /memorial is long overdue in the town he , and the other stars, made famous and brought and continues to bring well needed to revenue to . The toast is Happy Birthday Compo!

I am absolutely sure that my "family members" will give Bill/Compo the tributes he so thoroughly deserves.....
The Captain is SO RIGHT regarding the statue/memorial...it is a scandal to be honest.....OUR CAST have brought tens of thousands of pounds to OUR VILLAGE....from the pockets and purses of barmpots from the four corners of the globe !!!.
The greatest compliment I can give him is this........HE LOVED OUR SHOW AS MUCH AS WE DID AND STILL DO !!!!......Bill...I salute you !!!!
