Anyone who is very computer wise unlike me I was wondering if they can produce pictures of characters from the beginning of LOTSW and of the end of the series. For example of Marina in the beginning and now. Actually Marina was not pretty or sexy in the beginning. Nice to see how they aged as time went by.
 
Hi compo.

I can make some screen caps as long as we can get permission to post them here then I will gladly do that with many of the characters. :)
 
I think Marina was the most changed as she aged than any of the other characters. If you did not know the series well you would be hard pushed to recognise a then and now of her.

I feel that she had a harder look. Later on she had a softer look. I prefer the after which means in later series.

That sounds like fun and I see no reason why not,just remember you can only post small file sizes directly to the forum,so it may be best to host them somewhere then point the posting to the pictures
 
I don't think that certian characters changed their looks. Nora always looked the same for example, and so did Ivy...
 
I think this is a good,fun idea and it will be interesting to see how the characters aged and whatnot over the years.
Definitely a thumbs up from me.
I always considered Marina looked much better and had quite a good figure and so on towards the end of the First Foggy era,through the Seymour years and again,through the second Foggy spell.I could never work out why she started to use that heavy eye makeup in the Latter years.

The two that appeared to change most were Cleggy and Compo .Both visibly aged and looked ill over the years but speaking as someone who has had health issues in my later years I am not surprised!! ;)

Well you must realize that towards the end of the series Marina was appraoching 70 years of age so heavy makeup was NECESSARY. LOL

Bill Owen may have been a heavy smoker, Peter Sallis wasn´t and isn´t, he quit decades ago. I wouldn´t be surprised if it coincided with them stopping in the show.
I also think Marina changed the most, when she did the tango with Howard in Catching Digby´s Donkey I actually thought first that she was a man in lady´s clothes, she was moving so strangely and was so much taller than Howard.
We must also keep in mind that we knew Compo and Cleggy from the very first episode, and Ivy of course, the latter two from beginning to end. With some of the rest we have "only" spent 25 years roughly, or even less, depending when they left the show again. So we didn´t have the chance to have a look at them for such a long time.
