Hopefully Arkwright's not on the door as the toilet attendant. And it's open 24 hours

The toilets referred to in my original post are only open from 8:00am to 6:00pm. Luckily, Asda is open near 24/7.And it's open 24 hours
Most of the supermarket toilets in our town did stay open during lockdown. In one, we were only allowed in with permission, and an attendant to clean them afterwards. In Lincoln just after lockdown, none of the publics loos were open and the bigger stores loos were also closed, so they lost a lot of business as no loos were available during your shopping trip
I'm sure that the supermarket would REALLY APPRICIATE it, if when you use their conveniences, that you purchase something on the way out of the store. On another note, what if you're north of 50 years and you have NO MEANS or any idea of how to make a "contactless payment." Good thing the supermarket is close by.Our local council have just refurbished, upgraded and reinstated some public toilets in the town. They now charge 20p a time to visit (only payable contactless). The point is that there is an Asda supermarket literally only two minutes walk down the road, where you can use their toilets for free! Did the council never consider that? I bet they'll be first to complain if no one uses their facilities when it's free just down the road.
I think contactless has been here much longer than there so pretty much everyone has used it now, I know some aren't keen but everyone I know even over 70 ae using it.I'm sure that the supermarket would REALLY APPRICIATE it, if when you use their conveniences, that you purchase something on the way out of the store. If I ever can travel again, I'll have to look up contactless and educate myself before arriving in the UK!I think contactless has been here much longer than there so pretty much everyone has used it now, I know some aren't keen but everyone I know even over 70 ae using it.

Mine works to well according to him in doors! What boggles me is how in some countries people actually hand over there card in restaurants and the servers walks away with it! I'd be following them.Tap you bank card on the card reader , tap dance with joy if it ever works![]()
I've never been told to buy something every time I use the supermarket toilets. They don't seem to mind.I'm sure that the supermarket would REALLY APPRICIATE it, if when you use their conveniences, that you purchase something on the way out of the store. Good thing you don't live in Kirklees (where Holmfirth is)! Quite a while ago they closed all of their public conveniences, leaving only the ones in Holmfirth, which are owned by the town.Well, when I have to go, I really HAVE to go, so it's a good job our town has plenty of toilets, and all within quick walking distance of all parts of the town.
All I can say it, thank heavens for the toilets opposite The Fleece Inn, in Holme - operated by the village.Good thing you don't live in Kirklees (where Holmfirth is)! Quite a while ago they closed all of their public conveniences, leaving only the ones in Holmfirth, which are owned by the town.
