I recently got into a discussion here where I mentioned I liked New Castle Brown Ale. Chuck (forget is screen name) mentioned the Ram Tam, Old Peculiar, and Riggwelter are much better. I only get beer on special occasion and now I feel a another way to connect to the show and this forum is to get ideas of what kind of Ales would the guys have likely been drinking at the White Horse?

I now enjoy looking for some of these British Ales here in the States. The one place used to carry Old Peculiar but they never heard of the others? So what is likely on tap at the White Horse, Butchers Arms, etc?
