Can anyone tell me, whats actually in the match box that Compo often shows to people. Its always been something ive wondered about but assumed that we have to just guess for ourselves. I would like to know if there is an episode where the contents is revealed.

Thanks Marianna and Maltrab for putting me right. I must be thinking of another scene filmed in the alley. At least we can keep each other right, sorry for any confusion. My only excuse is that ive been for a root filling today at the dentist, which always sends me a bit confused.

This is just a general view taken on the way up to Edies and Wesleys. Im quite sure it was used in the series at some point. It is a typical landscape of the area.

This is the area used for when Marina and Howard have their secret meetings in the bushes. Its a very small area but always looks larger on screen.

Thought you might like to see this unusual dwelling thats just up the back of the church thats opposite Sid's Cafe. Its nothing to do with LOTSW but as it is so unusual its worth posting. As you can see the red door has number 42 on it which means its a seperate occomadation, all of its own...

Anybody know if this building was ever used? Its situated above Holmfith by the track they walked a lot and where the Holmfirth view is taken. I remember the shelter they used in Victoria Park, which now isnt there but not sure about this building.

Morning Marriana, I must admit I didnt really notice anything that was recently done. Perhaps it was the patch of grass that leads down to the church. As you can see from the photo there is something being marked out with sticks and string, next to the grave.
