The Summerwine.net music thread

Do you want me to delete some of my Videos?
because i won't post Anymore!
I think the main idea here was to post videos/music that either meant a lot to the member OR the member thought would benefit or be enjoyed by our other members, NOT whole collections.
Please DO NOT stop posting, but one at a time is perfect, :)

A poignant post Tony , evidence of the younger musicians embracing his music can be seen a couple of pages back on 3rd of June when I posted Cynthia Erivo's version of this very song on Jools Holland's show.

I met him pre gig many many moons ago he was just wandering around Newcastle City Centre not many people recognised him but I of course I did shook his hand [ gently] an said how much I was looking forward to the gig that night and not to impose I moved on as did he.
I was in a technical college in Dublin in the early eighties and former Thin Lizzy member Eric Bell was in a band called skid Row at the time. They had a Friday night residency in The Baggot Inn and we went there very often. We used to meet Bell regularly, usually along Grafton Street and he would nod and say hello. I used to feel a bit starstruck when he would recognise me from seeing me often in the venue.

Excellent guitarist Mr. Bell. That's prompted me to put on Life, Thin Lizzy live album later on.
The Rocker by Thin Lizzy.
Gary Moore in the video but Eric Bell playing.
What an amazing riff.
