Glenda

I wouldn't mind watching this but from what I can deduce on the interweb this tour ends on 25/6? Is there more dates?

Maybe Chuffer can tell us, as he went to see it.
Hi Graham/all,
Yes I went to see this play at the Cast theatre in Doncaster, and the only reason I went was to go and see and hopefully meet our Glenda,I was really looking forward to it.
The play was superb, but I left disappointed as just before the curtains went up they announced that the understudy would be playing the role of Miss Marple, she was excellent though.
After the play the actors came into the bar area and were chatting to members of the public,so I’m sure I’d have been able to meet her.
I enquired with the theatre about Sarah’s absence and the short notice that she wasn’t in the play, and they said that Sarah had to suddenly go home to London due to a family emergency, and I believe she missed quite a lot of performances,I hope everything is alright with Sarah and that she is ok.
After a month or so she resumed her role as Miss Marple but by then all the performances were too far away for me to watch it again.
I hadn’t read the book so didn’t know what to expect in the story, and it was brilliantly done, the lighting and effects and the sets were magnificent and I can only imagine how good it would have been to see our Glenda in it.
I don’t know if they have added any more dates, they often do when a tour has been successful, but if any of our Barmpot’s on here get a chance to see it,especially with Sarah in it,then please go,it’s proper, old fashioned family friendly thoroughly enjoyable entertainment.
And I never guessed Who Dunnit.

Sadly I think I'm a bit late to the party on this one, unless you can get to Woking before Saturday the tour looks to be over
