How did Marina Manage this

In the episode "A Leg up for Christmas" Marina ends up on the roof of Cleggy's house, now I know this is all make believe and we are not suppose to ask questions, but with no roof lights or velux windows, how on earth did she get there from the bedroom ?

what you don't see is Cleggy on the roof trying to escape Marina's clutches after she shared memories of their "time" in the lift having cornered him in the bedroom . Never one to be defeated in her quest for "Amour" she simply scrambled up so far and Norman, being gallant and a Gentleman , despite his precarious position could not see a Damsel in distress and so he offered her his hand and helped pull her to safety before making his escape for fear of being hugged and kissed to within an inch of his life. Well it is fiction and you have to have a bit of drama in the plot :08:;)

I have, whilst filing my toenails with a heavy duty rasp, applied my green matter as to how Marina finished up on the roof. I know it should be grey matter but at my time of life the stuff has gone mouldy. I know that the most obvious answer is that she bought a U boat from Auntie Wainwright and concealed it in her cleavage. When she needed to get up to the roof she quite simply upped the periscope and climbed up that and out through a loose ridge tile onto the roof. As I said, that is the most obvious answer and I would bet my last pair of sex proof underpants that you all came up with that answer. Well, you are wrong. Remember, that this was at the beginning of the pantomime season and Marina had been auditioning for a part in Jack and the Beanstalk at the under 18's Darby & Joan Club. She failed the audition but as she left the theater she half inched, {pinched}, one of the magic beans to keep as a souvenir. She stuffed it into her left ear hole where she felt it would be kept in place by a large 22 carat plastic earring. When it seemed that Marina was trapped in Clegg's bedroom she frantically banged her head against the wall hoping that that futile action would make her brain come up with a simple answer. It didn't, but it did loosen the bean in her lughole which fell onto the drawers, and into a glass of water which contained Toothadent in which Cleggy kept his bottom set of choppers at night. The result of this was quite startling, the bean very quickly sprouted and.... and....and, oh you know what happens, you must have seen the show or read the book. Well, Marina was up the plant in no time and out onto the roof. She sat there wondering where Howard was just when she needed him. At that point Santa walked past and asked her how she had got there. She replied,
"The stalk brought me".

It's easy, you stand on the windowsill, get a firm hold of drain pipe and hoist yourself up to the gutter then swing your leg over the gutter and brace your knee down and pull your other leg up them crawl up to the top. Easier without wearing a skirt of cause but it can be done. Factories are easier because they have more windows to choose from.

Especially in them shoes.

On a similar note, I'm not quite sure how Clegg was able to stand on his bicycle to tap on Sid's bedroom window in Getting Sam Home.

Are you speaking from experience Pearl? o_O

Trust me when I say no one but no one would pay to hear me sing.
I would. Anything is better than listening to people rattle on about the pandemic. Will I need ear muffs Pearl? I'll be there at noon. Have the kettle on. OH, how much will it cost to hear you sing? :07:
