Is anyone else being bombarded with e-mails from girls trying to get you to watch their video`s? I am getting 7 or 8 a day. They started when I got advertising e-mails from USA. I need help please to stop them.
 
I get them, I get woman emailing and asking me to do unspeakable things to their cat! I get messages asking if I want to marry a Chinese woman! ( I've not ruled the last one out, it depends on how good she is with the ironing)
Send them straight to your spam folder, that's what I do but don't open them.

Yes that is what I do Pearl and hope that they will eventually stop. You might be alright for a take away as well as ironing.

Reading your post this morning inspired me to check my spam mail and found that at 2am I had an email from " My daughter" You can see the first line without clicking on it, it was very polite with a link to go on. I knew it wasn't from her because it started with " Hello Mum, good evening Mum" usually I get " Oii you crazy old bat" :roflmao:

I text her and asked if she'd been hacked, I told her to find out who hacked her because they were much politer than her. :08::08: :21:

Does anybody get email's from Interactive Invester we get 3 or 4 a day. Don't know how we started getting them

No mine are always more of a personal nature, like penis extensions and Viagra!!
 
They say there is over 205 trillion spam e-mails sent worldwide every day, so the chances of not getting any are remote, I even set up a spare email account over a year ago,never used it and it was a odd email address to guess, but within 8 months it started to attract spam,even though it had never been used to send or receive mail.
The are many online companies that won't let you use their site without registering, so it is best to have a separate email account for these, then if it fills up with junk,who cares, keep your main account just for family and friends
Also never use the email account given to you from your internet provider i.e @bt.com because if you ever move provider you have to tell everyone your new email address, I have found the better ones to use with good spam filtering are Gmail or GMX.com

At the moment in the UK the tax rebate scam mail is doing the rounds, as they know around now many folk will be expecting a tax rebate, the current one is stating that due to a change in the law, this online form must be done in 30 days or you loose your rebate

My first email address with from BT, my daughter set it up and when my son in law dumped BT I had to change my email address luckily i didn't have to change much from the old one.
