Last Tango In Halifax

I really liked the early episodes with Anne Reid and
Derek Jacobi. But as the episodes went on, and we got much
more from the other characters and much less from
Anne Reid and Derek Jacobi, I started to lose interest. By
the end of Series 2 I didn't care whether there was going to
be a Series 3. I'll give it a look, but the main characters
will probably have left or died off and we'll see way too much
of their progeny.

Shame and all
 
Where is this filmed. I really liked the look of the road along a ridge in last night's episode as three of characters drove to wedding.

Unc it is filmed in and around Halifax,with much of the countryside is in the Ripponden area
 
I enjoy putting together a picture in my mind of the whole of Yorkshire. I especially enjoy the outdoor scenes in the moors in LOTSW, the scenery in DCI Banks, the vast views in All Creatures Great and Small, and the scenery in Last Tango in Halifax. Some day I may actually make it across the Pond, but for now I am enjoying stitching together all of these brief glimpses into one giant canvas called Yorkshire.
