Just been reading about route of stage two in 2014 TDF its ging through Holmfirth on its way to Sheffield via Holme Moss ,bet the boys would have been out to watch.

Yeah it would have made a good story for an episode when the gang try to stage their own version with chaotic results of course.

I never had a bit of interest in watching this, but if I know when they will be passing Summer wine territory I will be sure to watch.

I reckon that Foggy,Clegg and Compo in Welcome to earth are the only three cyclists who have been higher than Lance Armstrong .
