Laurel and Hardy are classics. Also a fan of Abbott and Costello as well. :21:

The museum at Ulverston has been on my to do list for ages seeing that documentary has rekindled my determination to make it this year.

Over here in Cheshire, Manchester TV on Freeview are going to show L and H films. I used to have loads on vhs, mostly all gone now. along with the vhs player. Went to the museum in Ulverston a few times, sat in the old cinema seats watching the films.

I like the sign, "British Engineering. Tested Beyond Endurance." and there's this really old car in front of the sign. Very ironic.

I couldn't agree more HJ they are timeless , so grateful for their films being released on DVD. If you ever need cheering up just put one in the player and press play . :)

Laurel and Hardy seem to have gone missing from our screens in recent years. Why I don`t know.
They don`t make em like that anymore.:44:

Came home last night and looking for something to watch I flicked onto Sky Arts and caught the tail end of a 2 hour film about the wonderful Laurel and Hardy , Laurel and Hardy:Their Lives and Magic . Having missed about and hour I searched the schedule and noticed it was on again in the early hours so I have recorded to keep. If there are any Sons of the Desert on the forum from what I have seen thus far it is a not to be missed programme and you may wish to search the Sky Arts upcoming schedule to see if you can maybe catch it.
