Came home last night and looking for something to watch I flicked onto Sky Arts and caught the tail end of a 2 hour film about the wonderful Laurel and Hardy , Laurel and Hardy:Their Lives and Magic . Having missed about and hour I searched the schedule and noticed it was on again in the early hours so I have recorded to keep. If there are any Sons of the Desert on the forum from what I have seen thus far it is a not to be missed programme and you may wish to search the Sky Arts upcoming schedule to see if you can maybe catch it.

I like the sign, "British Engineering. Tested Beyond Endurance." and there's this really old car in front of the sign. Very ironic.

I couldn't agree more HJ they are timeless , so grateful for their films being released on DVD. If you ever need cheering up just put one in the player and press play . :)
Over here in Cheshire, Manchester TV on Freeview are going to show L and H films. I used to have loads on vhs, mostly all gone now. along with the vhs player. Went to the museum in Ulverston a few times, sat in the old cinema seats watching the films.
