I would definitely continue may as well see the show through to its conclusion before it was cancelled , Russ Abbot simply plays himself from the time when he was a huge success with his TV series a bit like Smiler who was Blakey...

You made it this far Denton, might as well finish out the series :). I agree with you that Russ comes on stronger than he should have. At least you can watch it for the other characters.

I am hoping some of the Die hard Summer Wine fans can assist, I am up to the stage where Hobbo has appeared, and as good as Russ Abbot is, I am finding it difficult to accept his character, it feels like an off shoot of Basildon Bond...
