We stop off in Hawes occasionally on the way to Leyburn( lovely market town) Great chippy, some good little walks, interesting architecture and a decent couple of pubs.

Been there for part of a day's photography. An easy stroll over the hill via the footpath next to the parish church takes you to Gayle, where you can visit the Yorkshire Wensleydale creamery and sample some of their wonderful cheeses...
